By purchasing from Carpet Culture, whether in-store or online, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and transparency for both the customer and Carpet Culture. Please review them carefully, as they govern all transactions made with us.
1. All Sales Are Final
All sales at Carpet Culture are final. No refunds will be provided. However, store credit may be issued if a return is made within the 7-day return window, subject to the conditions set forth below. No cash or credit card refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
2. Return Policy

In-Store Returns: For items purchased online, you may return the product in-store within 7 calendar days of purchase. After the 7-day period has elapsed, no returns will be accepted, and no store credit will be issued.

Online Purchases: For items purchased online, the buyer is responsible for any and all return shipping costs. Returns must be initiated within 7 calendar days of delivery. To be eligible for store credit, the returned product must be in its original condition, as it was at the time of purchase.

Return Shipping: If the value of the returned item exceeds $75, we strongly recommend using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Carpet Culture is not liable for any lost or damaged return shipments. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
3. Late or Missing Refunds (Store Credit)
If you have not received your refund (in the form of store credit), please follow these steps:

Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times may delay the posting of your store credit.

If, after completing the above steps, you still have not received your store credit, please contact us at sales@carpet-culture.com or info@carpet-culture.com.
4. Rug Trials
Carpet Culture offers a trial period for rugs within New York City only. The trial is available at a flat rate of $100 for a 15 minute viewing, with additional pick-up and delivery charges applicable. If you decide to purchase the rug after the trial period, the $100 trial fee will be credited toward your final sale. This trial offer is valid only for new rugs.
5. Exchanges
Carpet Culture will replace items only if they are defective or damaged at the time of delivery. To initiate an exchange, please contact us via email or phone immediately after receipt of the item.

Exchange Credit: Under certain circumstances, and with prior approval, Carpet Culture may offer an exchange credit for certain rugs. To be eligible for an exchange credit, the returned item must be in its original condition, as it was at the time of purchase.

Exchange Value: The replacement product chosen must be of equal or higher value. If the exchanged product is of lesser value than the original purchase, the difference will be provided as store credit or a store gift card. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items valued over $100. Carpet Culture does not guarantee the receipt of returned items.
7. Seasonal Sales and Promotional Deals
All purchases made during seasonal sales or promotional deals are final and non-refundable. These items are not eligible for trial periods, returns, or exchanges. By participating in seasonal sales, the customer agrees that no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be provided for such products.
8. White-Glove Delivery
For white-glove delivery services, once you complete your purchase, a representative from Carpet Culture will contact you via email or phone to schedule a delivery time that works best for you. This service ensures the rug is handled with care and delivered according to your convenience. Please note, this service is only available in NYC & Brooklyn unless otherwise stated on sale by Carpet Culture.
9. Legal Disclaimer and Acceptance of Terms
By completing a purchase from Carpet Culture, whether in-store or online, you agree to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of your purchase. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and Carpet Culture, applicable to that specific transaction.
Carpet Culture reserves the right to update, modify, or change these terms and conditions for future transactions. Any changes will apply only to purchases made after the updated terms have been posted.
