Rug Rentals Terms & Conditions
By renting rugs from Carpet Culture, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the responsibilities of both Carpet Culture and the customer for all rental transactions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your rental.
1. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order for a rental rug, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all rug rentals provided by Carpet Culture, either directly or through its agents, contractors, or employees.
2. Rental Duration

All rug rentals are provided for a specified rental period, which will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Extensions to the rental period must be requested in advance and may incur additional fees.

The rental period begins on the day the rug is picked up or delivered and ends when the rug is returned to Carpet Culture.

Early Returns: If you return the rental rug earlier than the agreed-upon rental period, no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the rental.
3. Rental Fees and Payment

Rental Quotes: All rental quotes will be provided over the phone or via email. Rental prices vary depending on the type, size, and material of the rug.

Payment Terms: Full payment for the rental rug is due before the rug is picked up or delivered. Any extensions to the rental period or additional services will be invoiced separately.

Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required for certain rentals. The deposit will be returned after the rug is inspected for damage upon return, provided the rug is in the same condition as it was at the time of rental.
4. In-Store Rug Rentals

Availability: For in-store rentals, the item will be ready for pick-up or delivery within 2 business days from the date of the rental request.

Pick-Up/Delivery: Customers are responsible for either picking up the rug or arranging for delivery. Any additional delivery charges will be provided in the rental quote.
5. Warehouse Rug Rentals

Availability: For warehouse rentals, the rug will be ready for pick-up or delivery within 4 business days from the date of the rental request.

Pick-Up/Delivery: Customers are responsible for either picking up the rug or arranging for delivery. Any additional delivery charges will be provided in the rental quote.
6. Care and Maintenance of Rental Rugs

Customers are responsible for taking appropriate care of the rental rug during the rental period. This includes avoiding spills, stains, and damage from heavy furniture or sharp objects.

Condition Upon Return: All rental rugs must be returned in the same condition as they were at the time of rental. The customer will be responsible for any deep cleaning or repairs needed if the rug is returned damaged, stained, or in otherwise unsatisfactory condition.
7. Damage or Loss

Repair Costs: Customers are fully responsible for any repair expenses if the rental rug is damaged during the rental period. This includes but is not limited to, tears, stains, burns, or other forms of damage.

Replacement Costs: If a rental rug is lost or irreparably damaged during the rental period, the customer will be charged the full retail value of the rug as determined by Carpet Culture.
8. Cleaning and Maintenance

Customers are not permitted to clean or attempt to repair any rental rugs on their own. If cleaning or repairs are necessary, these services must be performed by Carpet Culture-approved professionals, and the cost of the service will be deducted from the security deposit or invoiced separately if no deposit was required.
9. Return of Rental Rugs

Return Timeline: Rental rugs must be returned to Carpet Culture on or before the agreed-upon return date. Failure to return the rug on time may result in additional rental fees.

Return Condition: The rug must be returned in the same condition it was in at the time of rental. Upon return, the rug will be inspected, and any damage or excessive wear will result in repair charges or the forfeiture of the security deposit, if applicable.
10. Cancellations

Cancellation Fee: If you wish to cancel your rug rental, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up or delivery date. Cancellations made after this period will incur a cancellation fee of $250.
11. Liability
Carpet Culture is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage caused by the use of the rental rug during the rental period. The customer assumes full responsibility for the proper use and care of the rug while it is in their possession.
12. Changes to Terms
Carpet Culture reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers before finalizing any rental agreement. By renting from Carpet Culture, the customer agrees to the most current version of these terms and conditions.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a rug rental from Carpet Culture, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions in full. These terms constitute a binding agreement between Carpet Culture and the customer.
